Website updates – new colors, pulse, server page customization and more
It’s time for another round of updates! Over the past few weeks, we’ve been focusing on improving both the functionality and the overall experience of L2ForYou.eu. This update brings several meaningful changes that make discovering and tracking new servers easier, cleaner, and more enjoyable.
Server info page customization – personalised banner & description
Server owners can now customize their server details page. Each page may display their banner as well as a server description.
Descriptions can be provided in English, Russian, and Brazilian Portuguese. If an owner provides text only in English, users browsing in RU or PT will simply not see a description for their language — descriptions appear only when they match the visitor’s locale settings.
The recommended banner size is 1400 × 240 px, and descriptions work best around 200 characters. These aren’t strict limits, but going too far outside them may result in stretched images or awkward layout appearance. To set up their visuals or text, owners can contact us through the usual communication channels.

Server pulse visualization
One of the most exciting additions is the new Server Pulse component. It’s a line chart designed to show how active the Lineage 2 scene is, covering both the past month and the upcoming month.
Already opened servers appear as a solid line, while future openings are shown as a dashed line. Because new servers are added dynamically, the dashed section will shift and update as time goes on. Pulse data refreshes every 24 hours, so the latest additions may take some time to appear, but it provides a clear, constantly evolving snapshot of upcoming activity.
Newest projects section
We also introduced a new Latest Lineage 2 Projects section.
This one doesn’t track individual servers but instead highlights three newly created projects — teams launching their very first server, opening a new brand, or establishing their online presence. It’s a small boost of visibility designed to help young projects get discovered more easily.
A softer, more balanced color theme
The website’s color palette has been updated as well.
We moved away from harsher tones and adopted a calmer, more aesthetic theme across the interface. The goal was to make the browsing experience more comfortable and modern while keeping everything clean and minimalistic.
Applied filter indicator
The server list now displays an applied filter indicator, summarizing all filters currently active on the list.
This makes it easier to understand why certain servers are shown or hidden, especially when combining multiple filter options. It brings more clarity, helps prevent confusion, and ensures you always know what you’re looking at.
A shift in languages — LT and PL temporarily removed
To streamline development and focus fully on features, we have temporarily removed the Lithuanian and Polish versions of the website. This allows faster iteration and cleaner maintenance, especially while many new components are being added. These languages may return in the future once the core system is fully expanded.
